Last week I was blessed to go to the launch of a brand new venue in my local area, The Barn At Brookend Green Farm in Barton-Le-Clay. It was an amazing event, with excellent live entertainment from Dom Plays Sax and Briar Rouge, and delicious canapés from The Chefs Table… the Baileys and white chocolate tart was divine!
The stunning exterior of the Barn at Brookend Green Farm
The venue is a beautiful barn set in the Bedfordshire countryside, over looking the Sharpenhoe Clappers. The barn is an L shape, and for the launch was set up with the ceremony set-up in one side, and the reception and sit down dinner set-up in the other. Soon, the venue will be licensed for weddings with 110 guests, the perfect number for an intimate barn wedding. The barn has a wonderful dreamy rustic feel, with the original beams exposed. For any bride or groom who dreams of a rustic wedding, this is the perfect venue for you!
Beautiful ceremony set up
I loved how elegantly the tables were dressed by White Button Weddings, accompanied by flower arrangements by Flowers at 58. For something a bit different, check out the gorgeous lace chair covers by Beautiful Bows! I loved them as soon as I saw them! Always a great addition to a wedding day, the LOVE lights were by The Vintage Wedding Drive.

Moving into the outdoor space in the grounds of Brookend Green Farm, this venue has it all! There is a gorgeous bridal tent for the happy couples wedding night, which was super romantic. Also, there was also plenty of space for glamping tents for the guests too. In the grounds, there is a beautiful little lake which would be absolutely stunning for photographs, as would the picturesque orchard that is part of the grounds too. The blossom was in full bloom while were there, and would be beautiful for a spring wedding. If you’re still not sure what season to get married in, check out my blog on the pros and cons of each wedding season!

In conclusion, this is a beautiful barn venue perfect for couples looking for a relaxed, rustic, countryside vibe to their wedding. I personally can’t wait for someone to book me to photograph their wedding there. I can’t wait to get the chance to photograph at those beautiful features such as the lake!
