You know that time of year when no-one knows what day it is between Christmas and New Year, and all the excitement of Christmas is over? What better way to keep the celebratory mood going than by getting married?! Thats what Monica and Rob did at Hatfield House, and their wedding day was SO magical. I honestly had the most incredible time, from beginning to end. They, their families and wedding party are the most wonderfully lovely people I have had the pleasure of meeting.
I am so glad I chose Nicki to be our wedding photographer; she is super organised, reliable, hard working, and so lovely to be around, enabling us to feel comfortable and completely at ease in front of the camera. Nicki captured our wedding day beautifully, from the preparations right up until the dancing. The quality of the photos is superb and we are just thrilled with our amazing gallery full of wonderful photos. I would highly recommend FJS photography to anyone wanting a reliable, stress-free and professional service. Thank you Nicki!
We started the day at Monica and Robs house, for one of the most chilled bridal preps I have been to. Therefore, we had a very relaxed morning, before we headed over to the wedding at the Old Palace at Hatfield House. Monicas bridesmaids looked beautiful in their wine-red dresses, which looked gorgeous against the warm colours of the Old Palace. The Old Palace looked majestic as always, with the regal tapestries on the walls and the light canopy alight above.
The rest of the day followed wonderfully, complete with a heartwarming ceremony, emotional speeches and a beautifully performed first dance. Above all, there was love and laughter abundant throughout, and a wonder to behold.
Also, after the first dance there was the most amazing flash mob organised by Monicas cousin. The whole thing was a complete surprise to them! Subsequently, it was honestly one of the most extraordinary things I have ever seen at a wedding. It was made up of quite a large number of their guests, and everyone did such an amazing job of the dance! However I was glad I was photographing, as my husband is well aware I am an impressively bad dancer!
Big thank you to Rafe for being my second photographer on this one!
It was such a pleasure to be a part of your wedding day Monica and Rob! I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness. Love, Nicki x
